Mrs. Rudy was born near Hughesville, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Stotts and was one of six children. At one time the family lived near Sedlai where she attended high school. They later moved to a farm near Smithton and at the age of 18 was married to Mr. Rudy, and resided on the Rudy farm, near Smithton until the middle thirties when they moved to California.
Surviving are two children, Mrs. Ruth Wiley, of Berkeley, Cal., and George F. Rudy, of Redwood City, Calif., four grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. George W. Schwabe, of Columbia.

BELGRADE-Dean Raymond Stout, 74, an Air Force veteran, died of heart failure Thursday, Dec. 8, at his home in Belgrade.
Visitation is noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at Dahl Funeral Chapel. His funeral is 10 a.m. Monday at Belgrade Community Church, 119 South Broadway in Belgrade, with burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Dean passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Dean and his identical twin brother Donald Llyd Stout were born Nov. 25, 1937, in Missoula, Mont., to Virgil and Leona (Hines) Stout. Dean was raised in Arrow Creek, Mont., and attended Stanford High School. He was a proud member of the 1955 State class C basketball championship team. After high school, he served in the United States Air Force in Texas.
Dean married Darlene Stephens in 1959 and out of this union their child, Doug, was born. The couple later divorced.
Dean met Pam Metzinger at a dance hall in Windham, Mont., and the couple later married on July 5, 1975, in Bozeman.
Dean was an accomplished hunger and fisherman and loved to eat trout every chance he got. He loved attending his grandchildren's sport and musical events. Dean was a very lucky man, he enjoyed going to Jackpot, Nev., and coming home with winnings. Mos of all, Dean will be remembered for his unprecedented worth ethic. Dean was also a phenomenal listener. People were verry apt to open up to him because it was obvious that he really cared about what they were saying.
Dean was preceded in death by his parents, his son DeWayne and daughter-in-law Debbie Stout, his brothers Donald and Keith, and a sister, Katherine.
Survivors include his wife Pam, son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Julie Stout; stepsons Keith Nelsen, Doug Nelsen and Nick (Shawn) Nelsen, all of Belgrade; grandchildren: Alex (Megan) Stout of Bozeman, Whitney Nelsen of bozeman, Leslie (Zeb) Miller of Four Corners, Corey Beley of Belgrade and Laura Stout of Belgrade; and great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Halle and Julien.

He always wanted to fish the Bass Master but never got the change to see if he was as good as Kevin Van Dam. He is now with God at the biggest and best fishing hole that ever was. Memorial Service will be held at Kentucky Baptist today at 7:00 p.m. Services are under the direction of Lewallen-Gardica-Pipkin Funeral Home. Donald L. Stout
Donald L. Stout, 62, of Lewistown, passed away early Friday morning, July 7 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. He lost a courageous battle with cancer and is now at peace.
He was born Nov. 25, 1937, in Missoula, the son of Virgil and Leona (Hines) Stout. He received his elemtary education at Arrow Creek and his high school years in Stanford, graduating in 1956.
After high school he and his twin brother, Dean, enlisted in the Air National Guard receiving their basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. After basic training they served six years in the Air National Guard in Great Falls.
Stout went to work for the Farmer's Union GTA elevator in Stanford and was engaged in some farming.
On Sept. 19, 1965, he was united in marriage to Lois Quilling in Stanford. In 1966 they moved to Winifred where he was manager of the GTA grain elevator until June of 1967. They then moved to Coffee Creek where he was again engaged in farming.
In 1979 they bought the grocery store and meat market from Lois' folks. They closed the grocery store in the early 1970s and extended the meat business. A fire destroyed the business in 1985.
They continued to arm and operate the home place. In 1993 they moved to Lewistown where together they owned and operated the Empire Cafe until bad health forced them to sell the business in April of this year.
Stout was an avid sportsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He also enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren. He and his wife belonged to the Coffee Creek Pinochle Club for 31 years and enjoyed playing cards with friends.
One of his biggest pleasures was meeting people and serving his customers, whether it be grocery, meat or cafe business.
He is survived by his wife Lois of Lewistown; two children, daughter Diane and husband Shane Ray of Coffee Creek, and Brad and his wife Jill of Lind, Wash.; a twin brother, Dean and his wife, Pam of Belgrade; four grandchildren, Stacy and Megan Ray and Jacob and Carter Stout; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Keith, and sister, Kathryn Frueh (misspelled as Fruch).
Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 11 at 2 p.m. in the Cloyd Chapel. Interment will follow in the Stanford Cemetery.
Cloyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Frueh and her husband, Richard, had lived and farmed near Coffee Creek, Mont. until moving to Nodaway County, Mo., in 1971. She also had worked for the Basin State Bank in Stanford, Mont.
Born in Lewistown, Mont., on Jan. 14, 1934, she attended the Stanford High School. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Parnell, Mo., where she was active in St. Ann's Altar Society. She also had been active in a 4-H Club.
On Jan. 27, 1953, she married Richard H. Frueh in Geraldine, Mont. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Frueh was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil E. and Leona M. Stout, and a brother, Keith Stout.

Keith E. Stout
Keith E. Stout, Stanford, died of natural causes, Wednesday morning, Nov. 20, near Bozeman, while hunting.
He was born Dec. 28, 1935, in Lewistown, the son of Virgil and Leona Stout. He received his eduation in Arrow Creek and Stanford schools, grauating from Stanford High School in 1953.
He then worked for his father at the Arrow Creek Garage and helped the neighbors with their farming.
On Sept. 12, 1954, he was married to Eulah Johnson in Stanford.
In 1956 he began working at the GTA Elevator in Coffee Creek. In 1975 he bgan farming northeast of Stanford. In 1976 they moved to the farm after 20 years with the GTA Elevator.
He served as the Coffee Creek fire chief and clerk of the Coffee creek School for many years. He also helped with the youth baseball program in Denton and Stanford.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Eulah, of Stanford; one son, Dale E. of Billings; three daughters, Charlene Cook of Bay Town, Texas, Marilyn Snow of Stanford and LeAnna Gloyne of Lewistown; two brothers, Dean of Belgrade and Don of Coffee Creek; one sister Kathryn Frueh of Sheridan, Mo.; one uncle Roy Bestwick of Lolo, Mont; two aunts, Mrs. Virdie Johnson of Missoula and Alberta Hines of Vancouver, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Cloyd Chapel with interment following in the Stanford Cemetery.
Friends wishing to do so may make memorials to the charity of their choice and they may be left at the Cloyd Funeral Home. Parents: Virgil Edward STOUT and Leona Marie HINES.
