One of Henderson's oldest and most prominent citizens, A. B. Sights, was called by death, early Sunday morning.
Mr. Sights had a stroke of paralysis some 6 or 7 years ago which finally caused his death Sunday. He was 77 years old and is survived by one daughter, Miss Bettie Sights, whom he lived with at the time of his death on South Green street. He is also survived by two sons, Preston G. Sights of Memphis, Tenn., and John Sights of New Mexico and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral was conducted at 3 p.m. Monday afternoon, from the First Methodist church by Rev. J. C. Rawlings.
