She was a School Psychologist with Richland County School District 1, and was a meber of Morningside Baptist Church of Spartanburg. She was a 1992 graduate of Spartanburg High School, a 1996 graduate of the University of South Carolina, and received a Masters plus 30 in School Psychology from the Citadel College of Professional Studies. Surviving in addition to her parents are two brothers, Homan Cleveland Gossett, III, and Matthew King Gossett, both of Spartanburg, three sisters, Hope Gossett Green and her husband Richards Haskell Green, of Lexington, Molly Grace Gossett and Sarah Temple Gossett, both of Spartanburg; maternal grandmother, Dorothy Rose King, of Spartanburg, maternal grandfather, John Olmsted King, Jr., of Lakemont, GA; an uncle, John Olmsted King, III, of Atlanta, GA; and an aunt, Dorothy Ann King, of Lakemont, GA. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Holman C. Gossett, Sr. and Fannie Hicks Gossett of Spartanburg.
