She married John Rylen Murray, Sr. on May 28, 1949, and moved to Houston, Texas. John preceded her in death on April 25, 1997.
She was a homemaker and an avid reader of history and current events. She was known to her grandchildren as the story-reading grandma. She maintained a cheerful outlook despite a long-term disability from multiple sclerosis.
She served as Regent and Historian for the John McKnitt Alexander chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was active in the school essay programs for the D.A. R.
She was an honorary member of the Board of Trustees for Wells College. She was an active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church, hosting an adult Bible class in her home. She has been involved with St. Thomas Episcopal School for the past 40 years.
She was involved with an exercise program established for people with multiple sclerosis and was featured in the exercise tape "Coming Back."

The body will arrive this morning. The deceased was the found of the plant of John Foege and Son, cigar manufacturers.
Mrs. Foege was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1956, and came to the United States when he was 18 years old. hye was been a citizen of this country for forty-nine years.
Prior to his entrance of the tobacco business, he was a protrait painter. he established the present Foege plant in 1886, and married her in 1889. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Judith Foege; one daughter, Mrs. T. C. Bailey, of Wilson, N.C.; one son, John Foege, Jr. of Richmond and five grandchildren.

Arthur A. "Art" Forcum, Jr.
Arthur A. "Art" Forcum, Jr., 75, Henderson, passed away at 4:44 p.m. Friday, June 8, 2007, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville.
He was a member of Audubon Baptist Church. Mr. Forcum was retired from United Technology in Morganfield.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Emma; three stepdaughters, Wilma J. Willet and her husband, Robert J., Elaine B. Duncan and her husband, Robert R., and J. Darlene Thompson, all of Henderson; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Benton-Glunt Funeral Home. The Rev. Ted Burke will officiate. Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. today and after noon Monday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Audubon Baptist Church, 3440 Zion Rd., Henderson.
Pallbearers will be Steve Duncan, Gregg Duncan, Kenny Thompson, Terry Thompson, Keith Vincent, and Jay Willett.
