On Aug. 8, 1970, she married Charles Olson in Huntley. They lived and raised their children in Huntley all their married life. Julie was a beautician for over 40 years. She made her beauty shop in her home and had built a business as well as many friendships. Welcoming people into her home was one of her greatest joys. She was a wonderful hostess who loved entertaining. She was a fabulous cook; there was always an abundance of food. Her Sunday dinners were very special to her; she loved having her family around the table. Not only was Julie a cherished daughter, dear sister and devoted wife and mother to her family, she opened her doors to many others. Her kind words, open arms and genuine smile were comforting and made you feel welcome, she was a mom to many. She will be deeply missed. She was a proud member of the Huntley American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Chuck, her children, Denise (Mike) Doris of Huntley and Charlie (Tiffany) Olson of Huntley; a granddaughter, Natalie Olson; her father, Richard Enstrom; brother, Dennis (Kathy) Enstrom, and many other family members and good friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Enstrom on May 16, 1994.
