LONACONING-Adams Byers, 83, of Washington Street, died yesterday at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born at Elk Garden, he was a son of the late William and Margaret (Wilson) Byers. He was a member of Goodwill Volunteer Fire Company and the Masonic Lodge of Lonaconing.
Surviving are his widow, Anna (Ball) Byers; a daughter, Miss Mildred Byers, Lonaconing; three sons, William and Ellsworth Byers, both of College Park, and John Byers, Falls Church, Va.; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The body is at the residence where services will be conducted Sunday at 2:30 p.m. by Rev. John O. Prince. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
